Summer Training goes from June 2nd - August 9th

The cost is $55 for the entire summer block of training (no partial payments), to be paid to the LHS finance office prior to an athlete attending practice.  This cost does include a T-shirt.  Please fill out the following survey indicating what size T-shirt the athlete will need: Summer T-Shirt Size

Throughout the summer, practices will be held at 7am at the following locations: Mondays @ Traverse Mountain Elementary, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday @ Lehi High School Practice Field, Wednesdays @ LHS or TBD workout/Team Trail Run location, Saturdays will be Long Runs and will take place at TBD locations around Utah County

The dates and locations of the team trail runs can be found on the XC Schedule and Results page of the Website.  We will rely on parent/athlete support for these runs including transportation and snacks/drinks.  Each team trial run falls on a Wednesday morning and we will leave from Lehi High School at 6:30am to arrive at our destination.

How to Register for Footlocker West: Footlocker West registration page
Step 1: Make sure you are registering for the West Regional and not another regional.
Step 2: Click "Sign up"
Step 3: Fill out all the required information for registration and pay the fee.  When prompted please enter the following information in for our group registration: Group Name - Pioneer Nation and Group Leader - Chris Dorton
That group information must be filled out exactly right so they sort you into the right group.
Step 4: Make sure you choose the appropriate race to run in, either your grade level race or the championship race, most athletes should run in their grade level race unless they've talked to coach Dorton.  

Footlocker deposit will open up to all Juniors and Seniors on the team on Thursday Sept 12th at Midnight and will close at 2:30pm that same day.  It will then reopen for the remaining spots to everyone else on the team on Friday Sept 13th.  This will only be able to be paid online through myschoolfees.com.  The deposit will be $150 and will only be available for you to pay if you have paid all your other school fees.

Nike deposit will take place in October.

Admissions:
Adults = $8 + $1 online ticketing fee
High School Students with ID = Free
Children = Free
Race Bib provides participating athletes entry/re-entry to the venue
Day of tickets = $10 cash or utilize QR code to purchase online
All vehicles will be allowed into the park at no charge.
Admissions will be collected at 2 access points from the parking areas. Wrist bands will allow entry/re-entry and admissions covers both Friday and Saturday. Track and Cross Country Coaches with valid association/coach ID free of charge.

PLEASE follow the instructions of event staff and park where and how the parking attendants request.
NO STOPPING OR DROP OFF on the paved road.
Bus parking area has a designated pedestrian crossing out of the field, across the road and to the main park, please use this path. Follow instructions from volunteers and park staff.
Inform your parents they should plan to arrive 45-60min prior to the posted race time they are wishing to attend to accommodate traffic congestion.
PACKETS
Packets will be available at the course from 1pm - 6pm on Friday, 23 Sept and beginning 745am on 24 Sept.
Please bring payment to the meet if you have not already paid.
Your packet will include course map, venue map/warmup loop, meet instructions, meet schedule (races & awards), bib#'s, pins.

COURSE PREVIEW
Course will be open Friday from 1pm - 545pm for review. Course closes at 545pm to accommodate middle school races
Course closes at 845am on Saturday to all runners other than competitors.
BOB FIRMAN GEAR
There will be Nike apparel with Bob Firman XC logo available at the course both Friday and Saturday.
Nike items include - unisex short sleeve, womens short sleeve, youth short sleeve, unisex long sleeve, unisex hoodie, mens halfzip, womens halfzip, pom beanies, cuffed beanies, caps.
Cash and card accepted. Short Sleeve = $30; Long Sleeve = $40; Hoodie = $50; Halfzip = $60; Cap = $30; Beanies = $30
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Local teams, please advise your parents to arrive at the venue an hour prior to posted race time to alleviate traffic congestion into the park. Please emphasize to your parents they are not allowed to stop or drop off on the paved entry road.

WARM UP AREA
Your packet will include a venue map that also shows the warm-up area. NO warm-ups are allowed on the paved road or to the east of the paved road. MAP HERE

Our gear and equipment fee is $300 and will cover the following: warm up joggers, warm up jacket, Long Sleeve t-shirt, a backpack and upkeep on all the track and field equipment.  These are heavy costs and can be lessened by participation in the following fundraiser and banner sales.  The items on the team store are not required for any athletes to purchase, but keep in mind that if you want any gear outside of what is covered by the initial $300 fee this will be the only other place to purchase Lehi Track and Field gear.  Below are the necessary links and information in order to participate and share in helping raise funds for our program.  Thanks for all you do to support Lehi Track and Field!

Fancloth has created an online store where anyone can buy Lehi Pioneer Track and Field gear.  You can access the team store here: Fancloth Team Store for Lehi High School Track and Field.  All money raised will be distributed equally to all registered athletes to help cover the gear and equipment costs. The more items sold the more money is sent back to the school.  There are also incentives offered by fan cloth for athletes who are tagged by the buyers when the purchase their items.  have people add your name when they make a purchase so you can get credit for the items sold (see below)...  All items will be delivered directly to the address the buyer lists on their checkout form so we don't have to worry about athletes delivering items to anyone.  Share the link to the team store with friends and family so we can get as many people in Lehi Track and Field Gear as possible!

Main Street Banners:  These will be 6ft x 10ft banners that will be hung on the Lehi High School chain link fencing along Main Street in Lehi.  Theses banners will hang for the duration of the 2022 track and field season (Beginning of March to the End of May).  The cost for these banners will be $2,000 and Lehi High School Track and Field will be responsible for designing, printing and hanging the banners.  All costs associated with printing and designing banners will be covered by Lehi High School Track and Field.

We had our Parent athlete meeting on Wednesday Feb 9th at 6pm in Aux Gym B.  We went over the Track and Field disclosure that you can find here: 2022 Track and Field Disclosure.

Please make sure you are aware of all the info in the disclosure and if you have any questions please discuss them with a coach.  You will need to turn in a signed copy of the team transparency form which is the last page on the team disclosure document.  It has a breakdown of fees on the form.  The Participation fee is due prior to March 9th, while the other fees will be due after our fundraisers are concluded and the money has been collected by the school and distributed to all registered athletes.  Please do not pay the gear and equipment fees until your account has been charged by the school with the final amount due.

We will be having a Cross Country parent/athlete meeting in the Main Gym at Lehi High School on Wednesday June 9th from 7-8pm.  We will have information packets there for you, and that information will be shared on this website following the meeting.
